A new exhibit opened up on Saturday at the Royal Ontario Museum here in Toronto, called Tattoos: Ritual. Identity. Obsession. Art., and it was conveniently my day off, so my boyfriend and I decided to go on a date! Both having tattoos ourselves, we were very interested to check out the exhibit.

The admission line was a bit long, but as soon as we got our tickets we headed straight to the fourth floor. The exhibit was a good mix between history, evolution, and examples of work, past and present. There was even an entertaining collection of letters between Sailor Jerry and various individuals including Ed Hardy.

The afternoon was fun, and so was my outfit. You better bet I wore heels with my adorable LTS overalls (which I’m absolutely in love with by the way)! It’s been a long, long time since I’ve had a pair of pants that still reach the ground even with heels on.
