This last week, Long Tall Sally was celebrating it’s 40th! As you’ve seen on my blog over the last 6 months, they’ve been a staple to my wardrobe especially when I’m looking for tall pieces that fit and look great, so I was so excited to celebrate along with them.
All week I’d been resharing some of the looks on my instagram that I’d styled with LTS pieces, leading up to their in-store parties on Saturday. Company wide, their stores hosted in-store shopping events to celebrate the ocassion, so I made sure to stop by the downtown Toronto location wearing some new pieces from their 40th anniversary collection.
If you’ve yet to browse the new items from the collection, I recommend you go now! I was SO excited to finally see a great pair of leather pants (I’ve been waiting!!!), and even more excited when they fit and feel so good. I was a bit worried they might not be easy to move in, but I wore them to the party on a nice warm day, and the stretch in the pant moves so comfortably. I was also really excited for the bomber jacket. Something cute and very current style-wise that fits my arm length. Love. I also got my hands on a few pairs of leather tights (I’m basically obsessed with anything when it comes to leather legwear), and a nice knit sweater dress, all of which I’ll make sure to style soon for you.
When I got to the party, as always I was greeted by one of their amazing staff members at the door, and was then offered to pick a prize out of a jar! I won 20% off my purchase so I quickly started looking around to see what I would use it on. I heard another lady shortly after won a pair of shoes! Lucky!!
As I looked around, I met and chatted with the most lovely Laura, another one of the staff at Toronto’s LTS store. It was so nice to make the connection and put another face to a company that I love so much. I told her I had my eye on a Bench jacket and after she told me how much she loved the piece, I knew it was what my 20% off was going towards.
After hanging out a bit longer and enjoying a few sweet treats, I made my purchase and said my goodbyes. Though I know I’ll make my way back soon because I heard there’s some exciting new things in the next collection (though that’s all Lauren would really tell me)!
Did any of you make it to any of the LTS events in your towns? If so, how’d it go? And what kind of goodies did you splurge on?
