As a tall lady, I get so excited when I see other tall girls. I get all like “omg someone who understands me!” and instantly start plotting how to become friends. There’s something about knowing that you’re not the only one who has heard the same tall jokes over and over again, or that others have just as difficult a time finding clothes that fit. Despite what it might feel like most of the time, there are others like me!

Ultimately, that’s what brought me to starting this blog. I wanted to create a space where I can vent about my tall struggles, celebrate my tall victories, and just share my experiences, so that other tall girls browsing the internet might get that “omg someone who understands me!” moment that I love so much. I also plan on continually seeking out more answers to the ultimate tall girl question: “Where do you find pants?!” because let’s be honest ladies, dressing our majestically long bodies is a neverending struggle. The amount of times I get asked where I go shopping when I cross paths with another tall girl, it’s about time I documented my findings.

I also happen to live in one of the most exciting cities in Canada, and while I love finding new places to shop, I also love finding new experiences here in Toronto. I’m so lucky to live in a city that has so much to offer and am excited to report on some of the adventures this mermaid has in the 6ix!
